Description

Many mental illnesses stem from child abuse and this painting portrays just that. The dark black hand like creatures crawl to get a hold of you. You have almost made it out but what if you have already turned into your worst fears to survive the cruelty? there is no such thing as a clear one way road escape. We carry our inner child within us as adults, hoping one day we can reach that door and not be over taken by our demons. The cracks on the pathway signify the security of emotional and physical wellbeing and needs, but when those are unmet and inconsistent that is when fear or hoarding or letting go really comes into form.
