Description

Every 60 seconds a rape case is registered around the world. But there are so many victims out there who are persuaded or beaten into silence, forced by their spouses or are killed. The long hair trailing the background symbolises the patriarchal control of women's bodies and rights from centuries. This painting is to honour the victims and help spread awareness to hold rapists and the people with the patriarchal mindset accountable for their actions.
