Description

A sanctuary doesn’t always mean a place. It could also very well be another person we hold the closest to our hearts. Intimacy varies, but the love stays the same. Love between women has been so fictionalised by men that it lost its own core meaning. This painting is made for women, by the female gaze. Love between two women was often laughed upon and was told to be unreal but love isn’t bound by societal views or traditions, Its supposed to be bound your heart and let the traditions grow too.
